National Wound Care Conference:
The National Wound Care Conference (NWCC) is a premier event dedicated to enhancing knowledge, awareness, and best practices in wound management across Malaysia. Since its inception in 2014, the conference has served as a vital platform for healthcare professionals to exchange expertise, explore the latest innovations, and strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration in wound care.
Over the years, NWCC has focused on key aspects of wound management, including diabetic limb ulcers, pressure ulcers, scientific advancements in wound healing, and integration of evidence-based practices. Each edition has featured distinguished local and international speakers, fostering discussions on global standards and innovative solutions in wound care.
The 7th National Wound Care Conference 2025 , themed “Experience to Excellence: Transforming Wound Care Beyond Surface Healing”,will be held at Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang . This year’s conference aims to expand the boundaries of wound care beyond conventional healing approaches, emphasizing comprehensive, patient-centered strategies.
Organized by the Infection Control Unit, Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, in collaboration with the National Wound Care Committee, the Penang State Health Department, the Malaysian Wound Care Association (MyWCA), and Kelab Sukan dan Kebajikan ILKKM Seremban (Pembantu Perubatan), NWCC 2025 will bring together healthcare professionals from both public and private sectors.
